Here’s mine

It was a challenge for her to juggle between two jobs but she managed.

A single parent and a mother of two girls, she found it difficult to make ends meet.

Fear and insecurity gripped her and problems never seemed to leave her doorstep.

She remembered to turn to God as she believed in the urgency of prayer.

Luck finally favoured her when one day she  was promoted to a higher position for her hardwork, which meant a brighter future for her kids.

God had finally sent his angels to protect her and her family.

Her faith in prayer doubled and she taught her children to believe in God and turn to prayer whenever troubles touched their doorstep.

  1. Oh yes, faith in God can move a mighty mountain… Faith can calm the troubled sea!!
Glad that things worked out beautifully for the little family!
Good one for the prompt! 🙂

  2. It is so important to believe in a higher power. Prayers help more than we realize. The feeling of peace we feel when we pray is by itself a boon. 🙂

  3. Very nicely done. Your last line “to believe in God and turn to prayer whenever troubles touched their doorstep” sent a little thought into my head that said but why only when troubles touch their doorstep, why not always in gratitude too.
